JD is a super fun 12 year old cocker spaniel, poodle cross.

It is obvious this little girl has been loved her whole life.  She’s been to a vet regularly, she’s been on lots of walks and she is in great health.  She was surrendered because her dad was moving into a retirement home which sadly doesn’t allow dogs.  She is a little confused by the sudden changes but she is doing OK, and we hope he is too.

JD is completely housetrained and doesn’t get into any mischief when left home alone. She is a princess who likes soft beds and couches. She also likes to sleep on the bed with you – no dog bed on the floor for her. She’s been pampered her whole life, and she isn’t about to let that change!

She likes to play with toys, likes to cuddle, loves to go for walks, and is good with other dogs and cats.  She is actually pretty darn spunky for a 12 year old dog!  She is usually pretty quiet but can get a little sassy when you are slow at throwing the toy, or handing over the treat.  It is actually pretty cute.
