Lily+snow 3 >Fetching Machine

Lily the border collie has been settling nicely into her foster home.

We don’t think she has spent much time in a house before. She doesn’t seem to know all the things we assume most adult dogs know.

For example, she has tried to stick her head in the hot oven, she was startled by the sound of a computer turning on and jumped when the furnace turned on for the first time.

Once she realizes that the world is not ending, and that no one else is concerned by these “scary” noises, she settles down quickly and the same noise doesn’t bother her next time she hears it.

She is a really playful girl who likes to play fetch as well as wrestle with other dogs.
Lily+snow 10 >Fetching Machine
She is a really fun, playful girl that would prefer an active, yet quieter household.  At this point we think that kids might be a bit of sensory overload for her.

Our adoption fee allows us to provide the basics for the dogs in our care, but we are always encountering additional expenses (dental work, medicine for illnesses, etc.).  If you would like to help dogs like this one, but aren’t looking to adopt one at this time, please consider a donation.  Thank you.
